1) The student must first register in person at the university.
2) At the time of final registration, he/she shows the entry date section of his/her passport to the registrar.
3) Show the visa page, if any, to the registrar.
4) After the final registration process is completed and course registration is completed, the student receives a student certificate.
5) After the final registration process is completed, the student starts the residence application process on the website of the Directorate of Migration Office and applies to the International Student Admission and Registration Office within five days at the latest with the following documents.
Documents to be submitted to the International Student Admissions and Registration Office Our office is located in the School of Foreign Languages building) :
- Residence permit registration/application form to be obtained by application from the webpage of the Directorate of Migration Office,
- Passport or passport substitute document and photocopy of the front page of the passport and the page where the applicant entered the country (The university official will make “original seen”).
- Active student status certificate (current dated, wet signed and stamped),
- 4 biometric photographs (white background, 3,5*4,5 220*290 pixels)
Original valid Health Insurance (GHI or private health insurance covering the duration of the residence permit request),
- Receipt of payment of the residence permit document fee (must be paid to the Tax Office. Payments can be made at https://dijital.gib.gov.tr/),
- A document showing the address where he/she will stay;
* A photocopy of the title deed if he/she is staying in his/her own home,
* Notarized copy of the lease agreement if staying with a lease agreement,
* If he/she is staying in a hotel, apartment, etc., a document indicating this (together with signature circular and tax certificate),
* If you are staying in a student dormitory, a document indicating this,
* Notarized commitment of the person with whom the sponsor is staying if the sponsor is staying with him/her (If the sponsor is married, also notarized commitment of his/her spouse),
- For foreigners under 18 years of age; for those arriving with a visa exemption or with a visa for a different purpose; a document containing the information of the parent/guardian (birth certificate, family certificate, etc.) and the consent given by the parent/guardian/legal representative (for those arriving with a visa for the purpose, the consent and the document containing the information of the parent/guardian will not be attached).
- For international students coming within the scope of Erasmus, a document showing the start and end dates of the study period (Erasmus students should apply directly to the Provincial Directorate of Migration).
